Katy Perry beats Taylor Swift for highest earning female musician spot!

We bet Taylor Swift isn't happy to hear her nemesis Katy Perry earned more than her this year!

Katy, 31, has topped Forbes' list for 2015, jumping up from fifth position last year having earned $135 million during her 151-date 'Prismatic World Tour' which grossed approximately $2 million per night.

So we reckon there will be some more 'bad blood' between her and her rival Taylor Swift, who was knocked back into second place, as she made $80 million over the same period.

"I am proud of my position as a boss, as a person that runs my own company," Katy said at the beginning of the year.

"I'm an entrepreneur... I don't want to shy away from it. I actually want to kind of grab it by its balls."

As well as ticket sales, the popstar - who is reportedly back with her ex John Mayer, who also used to date Taylor - has also made earnings from her endorsement deals with Claire's, Coty and Covergirl, as well as her recent world tour.
