Rove McManus finds it 'difficult' dealing with co-host Sam Frost

Just two months into their breakfast radio partnership for Sydney's 2DayFM, Rove McManus is reported to have said that working with Sam Frost, is like dealing with 'someone on work experience'.

According to New Idea, sources claim McManus, who boasts a lengthy international career in comedy and television, is unhappy with the 26-year-old's interview style and her lack of experience in public broadcasting.

Frost rocketed to fame following her appearances in the reality dating shows The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, and has since relied on her 'girl-next-door' image to keep her afloat during radio broadcasts.

The New Idea source claims that cracks started to appear in the relationship after Frost's very first day on the job when she giggled her way through an interview with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, saying, "He just feels like he is dealing with someone on work experience rather than a co-host."

The source went on to add, "As the weeks have progressed, the ratings are still low and she still seems like a rabbit caught in headlights".

Only time will tell whether the reality star will lift her game or become the next casualty in a long line of breakfast radio roadkill.
