Coldplay burst into the stadium in a kaleidoscope of colours, with front man Chris Martin hopping around from makeshift stage to makeshift stage with characteristic enthusiasm.
Flanked by a multi-coloured wearing marching band and scores of fans, the group performed a medley of their greatest hits, including Paradise and Yellow.
Next up, in all his sunglasses (does he ever take them off?) and leather wearing glory was Bruno Mars and his fellow leather clad cronies.
After strutting across the stadium while performing his hit single Uptown Funk, Mars was greeted at the other end by a fierce Queen Bey. BOW DOWN, BOY.
Beyonce and her dancers ramped up the sexy factor while taking to the middle of field as flames burst into the air behind the them. Fancy.
The performance then turned into a scrappy duet with Mars who managed to mesh Uptown Funk seamlessly into Beyonce’s hit Crazy In Love.
The show ended with a sweet little collaboration of Coldplay’s Up&Up between the three artists.
