The owner of PR agency Sweaty Betty chatted to The Morning Show hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies about how the incident "sickened" her.

"There's nothing worse than paedophilia. The worst thing is [my daughter is] four years old. The people who did it are known to me. If you've got a gripe with me, be a mature adult, take it up with me, don't inflict danger or embarrassment on my four-year-old. It's sick," Jacenko said.

"No matter how new social media is in the world, use it respectfully. Don't doctor pictures into lewd situations for a four year old! You're a deranged, sick person to do that!"

Jacenko revealed how she first found out about the digitally-altered pictures of her daughter, Pixie, last September.

"It actually happened in September of last year, believe it or not... I tried to put it out of my mind but obviously it came up when I was contacted by a reporter," she explained.

"Between September and now I've learned to deal with it. It is what it is, I minimised it from September until this Tuesday when it broke."

The original photos were altered into obscene images and shared by some of the country's top fashion identities.

Three people who are believed to have circulated the images have been reported to police, including two connected to the fashion industry.

Since discovering the photos, Jacenko, who appeared on the Australian version of Celebrity Apprentice, has changed the setting of both Pixie's and her own Instagram accounts to private.

According to News Corp, one photoshopped image shows Pixie standing alongside a prostitute in Amsterdam. In another image the four-year-old model looks like she is reading a book with two men having sex featured on the cover.

Speaking to Nova's Fitzy and Wippa on Wednesday, Jacenko justified having her daughter's Instagram account public for so long, saying: "We haven't got anything to hide."

"It is on private at the moment, will it remain on? I don't know," she told the boys.

"Does that mean my poor mother can't upload a picture of her granddaughter because there could be a sicko who looks on the internet? What is this world coming to?"

Rose Bay detectives currently still investigating the matter.
