Kaley Cuoco shares details of her 'rough' divorce

The Big Bang Theory actress opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about her split from her husband of 21 months, Ryan Sweeting, late last year.

"Last year was very bizarre," she told the talk show host.

"I already feel like 2016 is going to be a much better year than 2015. It's been tough, but things are going good and I'm in a much better place than I was."

The couple - who split in September 2015 - are still in the process of finalising their divorce, but that didn't stop DeGeneres from joking about their whirlwind romance.

"How long were you married?" she asked the actress.

"Not that long...I was married for a year and a half," an embarrassed Cuoco laughed.

"I even had [my wedding date] tattooed on my back and everything to remind me! Don't tattoo wedding dates...it was a mistake," she revealed.

The actress then laughed about why she chose a large image of a moth to cover up her wedding date tattoo.

"The significance is it was big enough to cover the numbers...It's just what I picked out at the time," she said.
