Madonna Rants About Meltdown Rumours

She might have attracted headlines all over the world for “having a meltdown” during her Australian shows, but Madonna is having none of it.

At last night’s Sydney show (to which she was only two hours late) Madge addressed everything from her rumoured alcoholism to her thoughts on Islam – and also had a cheeky dig at the flashing incident involving a 17-year-old fan in Brisbane earlier this week.

The singer propped one of her dancers across her knee before asking her, “How old are you? 15, 16?”

“14,” answered the dancer, to which Madonna responded, “I’m good with minors these days.”

Madge also made a point of addressing rumours she was in the midst of a complete breakdown.

"I don't drink,” the singer said. “So f--- you... you're not going to shut my s--- down. You're just jealous because I'm not an alcoholic.”

After throwing flowers into the crowd, Madonna proceeded to say she couldn’t accept any marriage proposals.

"I can't marry four people,” said the singer, addressing rumours that she’s set to convert to Islam. “I've not converted to Islam yet."

Finally, Madge acknowledged her recent custody battle over son Rocco.

"I don't want to be accused of having a meltdown," she said sarcastically. "Heaven forbid a mother should miss her son. It's a crime. It's a goddamn sin. I'm glad you have a sense of humour, because if I didn't have one I couldn't survive."

With that out of the way, the singer bought Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie on stage, gifting her with a rhinestone encrusted banana flask.
