Adele has sensationally hit out at Jamie Oliver during at concert at London's 02 Arena, after the popular chef announced his intentions to launch a campaign to get more women breastfeeding.

40-year-old Oliver is soon to become a father for the fifth time, and explained that Britain has some of the "worst breastfeeding in the world."

"It feeds into all sorts of things, like stunting, obesity, ill health," he said.

However 27-year-old Adele revealed that for some women, like herself, it can be very hard.

"Breastfeed if you can, but don’t worry, [formula brand] Aptamil’s just as good.

"I mean, I loved it, all I wanted to do was breastfeed and then I couldn’t and then I felt like, if I was in the jungle now back in the day, my kid would be dead because my milk’s gone.”
