Geoffrey Edelsten says Brynne isn't bankrupt!

Geoffrey Edelsten has refuted the claims that his ex wife Brynne Edelsten is broke following their divorce.

Over the weekend, the socialite told the Daily Telegraph that she felt "screwed" by her 72-year-old ex entrepreneur hubby and claimed she has been left $70,000 in debt in legal fees and will be filing for bankruptcy.

However, former medic Geoffrey reveals to the Daily Mail Australia, "She's not broke. In the four years we were married, she's had a total of, if not more than, $4million from me in in clothes, jewellery and travel."

"She could have sold the gowns if she was that worried about owing money to lawyers," he continued.

"I bought her designer dresses, paid for air fares for her and her family to go to Tahiti for her birthday several years ago and to fly her family to Australia several times.

"She was dripping in jewellery I bought her...she had it all. I don't think of her at all. I wish her well and hope she copes with life well after me."

The pair married in 2009 and split in 2014 after Edelsten allegedly took another woman on holiday.

Since then the business man has married Gabi Grecko last year, but they have since split up.
