Married At First Sight’s Erin dropped the bombshell on last night’s episode that she doesn’t have any plans on having children.
During an outing with her ‘husband’ Bryce’s mum, the 26-year-old star was “caught off guard” when she was asked about her plans to have a family.
“'I never really considered children as a serious thing because I just never really pictured my life with kids for some reason,” she told her.
“I had never really properly considered the idea of having kids because I've never needed to. So I was caught quite off guard.”
“I haven’t decided how I feel about having kids and having a family in the future.”
And when she discussed it with Bryce afterwards, it seemed to raise a red flag.
“Erin's answer was a little bit, you know, sort of flagged on my radar. I don't want to be an old father,” he said in an interview.
“I'm sort of almost, I feel like I'm at the next phase of my life. I've done a lot of that stuff.”
And it doesn’t seem like Erin is going to change her mind either!
“Essentially I've never lived out of home before. Like, I'm 26 years old. I can't even care for myself let alone a baby,” she added.
“It's just not going to happen, at least, not any time soon. And to be totally honest, if I never had kids, I would probably be OK with that as well. I just never really pictured my life with children.”
