New details of Britney's infamous meltdown emerge

Every Britney fan will remember 2007 - the year the singer's life edged into turmoil following her divorce from Kevin Federline, a custody battle over the couple's two sons and that infamous head-shaving incident.

Now, new court documents reveal the ...Baby One More Time singer "struggled with drug abuse" and ended up sleeping in a parking lot during the tumultuous year.

The documents emerged as part of a legal battle against Brit's former manager Sam Lufti.

The documents claim Lufti advised the pop star about the "importance of getting clean" before taking her on as a client.

Britney's family claims that Lufti was the one who supplied her with the drugs.

The documents also allege that Spears' slept in a parking lot in October of 2007, on the same day she lost custody of her two sons, Preston and Jaden.

Sam agreed to be the Stronger singer's manager on the condition that she "stop abusing drugs" and let him use drug sniffer dogs to ensure her continued sobriety.

Luckily, Britney's life got back on track when she was placed under the conservatorship of her father, Jamie, and was admitted to a psychiatric ward in early 2008.

Nowadays, the the 34-year-old is heating up the stage in Las Vegas, and is back to her former self.
