It's confirmed! There will be a Real Housewives of Sydney

After months of speculation Foxtel has confirmed casting is underway for The Real Housewives of Sydney.

The announcement was made on the reality TV show's Facebook page alongside an 11-second teaser.

While not yet confirmed, a number of high-flying Sydney socialites have been thrown into the possible mix of castmates including Skye Leckie.

But the wife of ex-Seven Network boss David Leckie wouldn't confirm or deny the reports telling The Daily Telegraph: "I've heard I've been on the list since day one but I don’t know, you've caught me unawares".

Another likely cast member is Christa Billich, who is married to artist Charles Billich, and is also best pals with Real Housewives of Melbourne star, Gamble Breaux.

According to The Daily Mail cosmetic therapist and TV star Matty Samaei is also among the contenders.
