Celine Dion reveals her husband died after falling out of bed

Singer Celine Dion has revealed shocking new details about the night her husband, René Angélil, died.

"He must have wanted to get up and he fell on the floor," she told Paris Match magazine.

“Normally, after my show when he had taken his last medications, I gave him a kiss, tucked him in and sent him off to sleep. That evening I didn’t want to wake him," she said.

The 48-year-old also revealed that it was the nurse who found her husband's body the next day.

"She came to find me," she revealed.

The My Heart Will Go On Singer recently revealed more details to People magazine.

"I got on my knees and I kissed him. It was the coldest thing I've ever experienced in my life, but it was amazing. I said, 'Promise me not to worry. I'm fine, the kids are great, we're gonna be okay. It's enough suffering. Just go in peace.'"

René Angélil passed away four months ago, aged 73, after a long battle with throat cancer.

Dion recently paid tribute to her late husband at the Billboard Music Awards, performing a rendition of her his favourite song, the Queen hit The Show Must Go On.

It was her first televised performance since his death.
