Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne perform 'The Lion King' in a flashmob

Neighbours 2 stars Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen joined James Corden for an epic Lion King musical performance in LA.

The chat show host cast the Aussie actress in the roles of Nala AND Timon, while Seth was given the part of "scenery, trees, birds, rocks" during the sequence.

"Why am I a tree?" a less-than-impressed Seth asked James.

"Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to do this at all, but now that I’m here, I feel like I could do a part with talking. Did you see the Steve Jobs movie?," he protested.

The trio were joined by a crew of dancers who were instructed to sing and dance to songs from The Lion King.

And did we mention it was all done on a crossing in LA?
