Mel Greig says there's 'no chance' of a reconciliation with husband

Mel Greig's hinted there's more to her marriage breakup than meets the eye when she appeared on The Daily Edition.

Speaking to Tom Williams and Sally Obermeder, Mel confessed there was "no chance" of a reconciliation with her ex - who she announced she split from in late April after just one year of marriage.

"There was a lot of stress on our marriage and it’s just the way it is," she said.

"There’s some things that have come to light that are going to be very hard to move forward from."

When pressed for more information, Mel revealed there were "a few mistakes that were made by someone" that caused her marriage to break down.

The radio host - who made international headlines back in 2012 after a prank call to a hospital ward where the Duchess of Cambridge was being treated went wrong - bizarrely confessed she was about to go to Hawaii with her ex, Steve Pollock

"It’s a group holiday that we booked and there’s four other couples going...I still want to go, he still wants to go," she laughed.

She did, however, confess they would be seated at "opposite ends of the table" come mealtimes.

"We will be amicable, I don’t hate him... there’s mistakes that he has made which are stopping us from moving forward again, but I don’t hate him," she said.

Mel recently made headlines after is was rumoured she had struck up a romance with former Home and Away star - and newly single - Dan Ewing.

She confirmed to The Daily Edition the pair were "just good friends".

"You can’t have friends these days! Dan is a family man. His wife, his child and Dan all stayed at my place in Wollongong two weeks ago...we have a mutual, respectful friendship."
