Dan Ewing set to Return to Home And Away

Get excited Home and Away fans, beloved character Heath (played by Dan Ewing) is set to return to the small screen.

The Aussie heart throb will return to the soap alongside actress Lisa Gormley, who played Bianca, for a special guest storyline on the series.

"It’s been in the works for a while," Dan told New Idea magazine.

"They came to me with a storyline idea and Lisa and I discussed it, and it was a great, fun opportunity.

"It’s a little crazy, because I’m actually shooting a feature film at the same time, so it’s going to be a lot of exhausting hours but it’s going to be worth it."

Dan has made headlines recently after it was revealed he had split from his wife of three years, Marni.

Although Dan has remained mum on the break up, he did let divulge the pair had faced "some really horrible times over there".

"It wasn't for us. We were over there and we didn't really like the set up or the infrastructure of the country," he admitted.

"LA is a very desperate, soulless place. it's very tough - it's a pressure cooker... As soon as we had the bubba over there, it just changes your whole perspective."
