Freya, otherwise known as the 'World's Loneliest Dog' is about to get her big break in Hollywood thanks to Michael Bay.

The director/producer took to Twitter to announce he hard about Freya's plight, and so decided to cast her in the new Transformers 5 movie.

Freya, a Staffordshire bull terrier who suffers from epilepsy, got onto Michael's radar after he came across a report about her being in the same rescue shelter for six years with not one taker.

The Freshfields Animal Rescue Center estimates she had been passed up 18,000 times.

The shelter has told TMZ the directed called them and was adamant about finding a role for Freya. He even promised to adopt her if no one else had by the time filming starts in August.
