Here's what new Bachelor Richie looks for in a woman

He's about to hit our screens as the third Aussie man looking for love on The Bachelor, but 31-year-old Richie Strahan has already dropped some major hints as to what he's looking for in his dream woman.

"I want all the good stuff, a girl who is going to be passionate, someone fiery who is going to challenge me," he told The Daily Telegraph.

Richie first caught audience's attention on the first season of The Bachelorette, where he placed third in the race for Sam Frost's heart.

Of his own search for love, Richie also says he wants to find someone who is "going to be my equal and push my boundaries as much as I push hers".

While filming wrapped on the 2016 series of the dating show two weeks ago, the show is yet to hit Aussie screens, with the show's producers having to take extreme measures to keep the final result - and Richie's current relationship status - under wraps.

The final rose ceremony took place in the exotic location of Bali, with producers struggling to keep paparazzi at bay.

Richie has stayed mum on social media since he was announced as the next Bachelor - and hasn't posted any snaps since a publicity shot 14 weeks ago.

"Can't wait to start this adventure as The Bachelor! I hope to meet someone amazing. This will be a wild experience, get excited!" he captioned the picture.
