Blake Lively reveals the sweet reason she married Ryan Reynolds

Hollywood's most perfect couple, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, have revealed the secret behind their super strong marriage.

Speaking to Marie Claire magazine, Lively revealed the real reason she tied the knot with the 39-year-old star.

"I knew he would always be my best friend for my whole life," she said.

"That was the biggest thing to me. I'd never known anything like the friendship that I had with him. I could like him as much as I loved him," she continued.

Ryan has previously revealed that the pair fell for each other on a double date...with other people.

"About a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and we were both single we went on a double date - she was on a date with another guy and I was on a date with another girl," he said.

"It was like the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across."
