A source told HollywoodLife: "Taylor is livid and horrified. She didn't know what to do when she heard about what Kanye did. She is bewildered, feels betrayed and is beyond frustrated with Kanye. It is like a complete nightmare."

The song also features the line: "I feel like me and Taylor Swift might still have sex, I made that bitch famous," which Taylor, 26, has previously blasted.

After Kim claimed Taylor had approved the lyrics in a phone call with Kanye, the 'Shake It Off' singer's representative said: "Kanye West asked her to release the song on her Twitter account, which she declined to do. Kanye West never told Taylor he was going to use the term, 'that bitch' in referencing her. A song cannot be approved if it was never heard. Kanye West never played the song for Taylor Swift.

"Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated."

Speaking about the video, Kanye told Vanity Fair: "It's not in support or anti any of [the people in the video]. It's a comment on fame."

And he insisted his wife has no problem with his controversial lyrics.

He said: "[I say] a lot of lines other wives would not allow a husband to say. But my wife also puts up photos that other husbands wouldn't let them put up. One of the keys to happiness in our marriage is we're allowed to be ourselves."

Kanye also claimed a number of his famous friends are upset that they don't appear in the controversial video - which features ex-partners of both him and Kim.
