Tessa James' exciting baby plans

Tessa James and her hubby Nate Myles are reportedly trying for a baby.

Close friends of the actress claim the pair want to start a family as soon as possible.

"She and Nate are definitely trying to fall pregnant , there's no doubt about it," an insider spilled to New Idea magazine.

"They're desperate to have a baby, but they also know it could take time, so they're being patient. Tessa and Nate are such beautiful people, and they're so in love - a baby would be a dream come true for them."

The 25-year-old is in remission after having battled Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Tessa was diagnosed with cancer in 2014 and admits the main focus of her life now is staying healthy and happy.

"My main goal now is to be happy," she said.

"I believe being consistently stressed creates bad health and I don't need to put that on myself."

The star currently has a few projects in the works, including a "great Australian film" alongside her former Home and Away love interest Lincoln Lewis, due out in September.
