Alicia Vikander reveals if Matt Damon really is Mr. Nice Guy

Joining an established franchise is a daunting prospect for any actor.

It's kind of like having to start a new school; everyone already knows each other and you're the odd one out.

Luckily for Oscar winner Alicia Vikander the franchise she was joining just happened to star the actor known as the "nicest guy in Hollywood" - Matt Damon.

"Coming onto a franchise like this a lot of the cast and crew are a very tight team," she told Be. "But on the first day Matt was opened armed to everyone who was new and took them in."

Alicia stars in the latest installation of the Jason Bourne franchise, aptly titled Jason Bourne, as CIA cyber expert Heather Lee, a character she says the writers did a "very good job creating".

"There is a lot of talk about strong female characters [in Hollywood]," she said. "I hope thought that it's going to come to a point where we only talk about being a strong character and not have to be female. It's about giving a character depth and I think that is something that really did exist in Heather."

The stunning brunette also revealed the cast and crew had a penchant for pulling pranks on unsuspecting actors.

"They’ve done that on every single film so far," she said.

"I remember I saw this clip of Vincent Cassel - who as soon as the camera comes on him just looks badass - they showed me this cut of a scene when he looks up in a mirror after he's just killed someone and in frame they put this rubber duck down.

"The thing is he was so into this very, very deep scene looking at himself after his first kill so he didn’t notice the duck, and everyone was laughing, and it took him about seven seconds before he realised the duck was there."
