Chris Hemsworth gives fans a cheeky personal tour

He's back!

Chris Hemsworth has given fans a very cheeky inside look at the set of his new flick Thor 3: Ragnarok after landing on the Gold Coast.

Rugged up in trackies, a hoodie and some slippers, the action star gave his five million Instagram followers a brief look around the filming lot before asking someone off camera where his "hammer" was.

The star had touched down straight after a training session, and, with protein shake in hand, announced: "Here we are at the beginning of shooting for Thor 3 at the studios.

"Got my shake, got my shoes... and as requested, got the roller coaster - it's just some of the perks that come with being Thor," the likeable actor joked.

Filming on the blockbuster kicked off on Sunday with actor Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/the Hulk) spotted around the Gold Coast snapping selfies with fans.

Cate Blanchett, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum and Tom Hiddleston will also star alongside Chris and Mark in the film.
