Spice Girls tease a major reunion in new video

It sounds like our prayers have been answered, as the Spice Girls may be reuniting! Well, kind of.

In honour of the 20th anniversary of the girl band's debut of their debut single, Wannabe, Melanie “Mel B” Brown (Scary Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), released a video thanking fans.

“You’ve stood by us for 20 years, and we want to say a big thank you,” Geri says in the video.

“We want to celebrate and have a party, and when we do, you’re all invited!” the girls shout at the end.

No specific information has been released as to how or when the party will commence. (But we're hoping we'll get an invite!)

Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) and Mel C (Sporty Spice) were notably missing from the clip, leading fans to believe they won't be part of the reunion.

But Geri, Mel and Emma have apparently dubbed themselves GEM — their initials — and launched a new website.

The original five last performed together during the 2012 Olympics in London.
