Lynzey Murphy: "Ash Pollard gives me love advice"

Ex My Kitchen Rules contestant Lynzey Murphy has revealed that Ash Pollard gives her love advice.

The occupational therapist fiercely stood up for her friend and former teammate at the 'official Be' launch in Sydney on Thursday night, claiming Ash's comments are never meant with malice and she always comes to her with some of her biggest love dilemmas.

"We’re pretty close so we talk about our love life," the super-fit star told Be.

"I talk about my career so whenever I’m getting a new job or if I’m focusing on something specific then I’ll always give her a call and she’s really good she’ll always give me honest advice.

"If I’ve done something silly she’ll say ‘why did you do that? That was stupid’ and it’s good, it helps me learn."

Murphy who is also a personal trainer, defended her friend's opinionated personality, claiming she "appreciates having her around" due to her honest attitude.

"You can either take it as contructive criticism or you can be offended by it and not learn from it like: ‘she’s just a bi*** she said that' or you can really think about what someone said and why they said it to you," she said.

"There’s no malice in her comments she really is a nice person and she wants you to be the best person you can be."
