The mother-of-one told POPSUGAR Australia that she began having pelvic issues during her 25-week-pregnancy and ended up on crutches at the end.
“I thought I’d have the baby, and get super fit and strong straight away. But my body broke – from 25 weeks of pregnancy.
“I couldn’t walk for longer than five to 10 minutes without chronic pain, so it’s been a really long path,” she told the publication.
Optimistic as always, Zoe is taking the positive away from this experience saying it’s taught her to focus on getting in to strength training.
“I’ve chilled out a lot, and just want my body to be strong, genuinely strong, and flexible, and able,” she said.
The Aussie personality says that exercising to her is not about getting skinny or “clocking up calories” but about strength.
She used to be a runner and admits she misses it at times but she’s enjoying focusing on different exercises since giving birth, and obviously loves spending time with her cutie; Sonny.
