EXCLUSIVE: Unseen Star Trek Beyond footage, revealed

Be managed to get our hands on an exclusive Star Trek Beyond featurette starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and more of the cast weighing in on their nemesis, Krall.

In the clip, Zachary, who plays Commander Spock in the film, evaluates the havoc Krall (Idris Elba) has played on the crew of the Starship Enterprise.

“The crew of the Enterprise has really fractured and split apart by Krall, the bad guy in the film,” Zachary says in the video. “Some are marooned and some captured. So we have to work to find our way back to each other.”

Chris Pine, who plays Captain Kirk in the flick, adds how settling their differences is the only way the team have a chance of facing this new enemy in the Star Trek universe.

“By working together we can achieve great things,” he says. “We can win in the end.”

Keep watching the clip to see more unreleased footage of the flick, including some particularly badass fight sequences by Jaylah, played by Algerian dancer Sofia Boutella.

She sure has put all those years of professional dancing to good use!
