Anna Heinrich: “We are just taking our time”

They met three years ago on the first season of The Bachelor Australia.

And despite finding love on the reality show, Anna Heinrich isn't feeling the pressure to walk down the aisle to partner Tim Robards.

While last season's couple Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski announced their engagement at the end of 2015, Anna told Be that her and Tim are doing things their own way.

"Every relationship is different and for us we have just been getting to know each other every day," Anna told Be from the Witchery Spring/Summer 2016 runway show.

"I know him so well now and I’m so glad I’ve had that time. I think we are just taking our time and how we want to go about things, we don’t feel like there’s a certain way to go about things."

Despite the constant speculation about their relationship, the lawyer said she understands the public interest given they met in a very public setting.

‘It comes with the territory and if you put yourself in that position you have to expect it," she said.

"I appreciate everyone’s interest and I’ll continue to so I get it from their end. I get why people are asking, they’re interested because they’ve seen our relationship grow."

Tim is currently enjoying an overseas holiday, while Anna remains in Sydney and distance is not something they are used to as a couple.

Anna recently shared a loved-up photo to social media with a sweet message saying how much she missed Tim.

Their first lengthy separation was during their stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! last year.

"This is the second longest time we have been away since going in the jungle so we spend a lot of time together ," Anna said.

"At the beginning it was harder but I’m fine now and he’ll be back on Monday ."
