Jackie O's dad slams her, calls her fat on air

Jackie O's father Tony humiliated her on-air after telling her she had "let herself go".

Ouch.

The 41-year-old was chatting about a girl in Queensland who looks like her, when her father fat-shamed her on the radio by saying he preferred the "skinnier" version of Jackie.

Tony asked: "Why have you let yourself go?"

Jackie, clearly mortified, responded: "Dad, that is just rude... You and mum are always having a go at me about my weight."

"You have to remember, no-one ever says anything nice to fat people," Tony replied.

Jackie's co-host, Kyle Sandilands, who has openly spoken about his battle with his weight, then poked fun at himself, saying: "Isn't it called happy fat? I am at my happiest with a lamington in one hand and my 25-year-old girlfriend in the other."

The mother-of-one has previously opened up about her struggle with body image.

"We went to Fiji for a week and I was not bikini ready at all. I’m so embarrassed about being in a bikini at the moment so what I do is I wear a dress [into the pool]," she told Kyle at the time.

"I wear this netted dress as I descend, and as I get deeper I start taking [it] off so people won’t see [my body]."

What a heartbreaking confession. We think you look fabulous always, Jackie.
