Richie Strahan shatters hearts, says he never loved Sam Frost

Here we are thinking Richie Strahan was devastated when Sam Frost sent him packing last year on The Bachelorette.

The new Bachelor has revealed that while he was disappointed not to be the guy to whisk Sam off her feet, he was never ACTUALLY in love with her.

“I was obviously a bit upset,” Richie told WHO Magazine, "I’d built a great relationship with her. It would have been nice to be the guy at the end.

But was he left completely shattered and heartbroken?

"I get asked that a lot,” he said.

“Was I in love? No.”

Well, there you have it. Thanks for ruining the fantasy Richie!

Richie placed third in the series after Sam sent him home in favour for Michael Turnbull and Sasha Mielczarek.

Sasha ultimately won the heart of Sam and the couple have been together ever since.

The Rope Access Technician also hinted that he's found "the one" on The Bachelor.

“Let’s just say I felt something on the first night. Richie’s happy.”

The Bachelor Australia begins on July 27 and we cannot wait!
