"I'm always going to miss those guys there but it's not like I don't see everyone," he said to Larry and Kylie.

"It's such a family there. Once you've been there you're kind of there forever and ingrained in the furniture. I still keep in contact with everyone but it was a pretty amazing three years."

Tai hopes to follow in the footsteps of previous H&A alum who've made it big in Hollywood, including Chris Hemsworth, Ryan Kwanten and Isla Fisher.

"It really is one of those once in a lifetime opportunities, you come over here [to LA], all the way to the other side of the world and people know about the show, it's definitely a bench mark and something we can all be proud of back in Australia," he said of the hugely popular show.

He added: "The idea is to have the best of both wolds and be lucky enough to be able to work in both worlds."
