MTV VMAs 2016: Beyoncé breaks record for all-time wins... here's the full winners list

Following her four Emmy nominations for Lemonade, Beyoncé nabbed 11 VMAs noms — a career best — for various videos from that groundbreaking visual album.

Trailing Beyoncé, with an also impressive eight nods, was Adele. Her Hello was nominated in seven of those categories, including Video of the Year. But this year clearly belonged to Queen Bey, with a total of seven wins at this year's ceremony.

Bey's total VMA wins of all-time added up to a total of 23 after tonight's victory, surpassing Madonna’s record of 20 VMA wins - a title she's held since 1999.
