Is Taylor Swift’s reign over?

T-Swizzle - the pop princess, world’s top-earning celebrity and ruler of her own famous squad - may be getting dethroned.

Either that or MTV have taken Kimye’s side in their feud against the singer. Considering the VMA nomination process is such a mystery we'll never really know.

Whatever’s happening, one thing is for certain, Tay Tay was completely shunned at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards getting a big fat zero nominations.

MTV announced the 2016 VMA nominees today and Taylor Swift’s name didn’t get a mention.

Is T-Swift losing traction on her creative endeavors, has she just pissed off too many in the music industry lately OR has there just been more amazing videos produced by the likes of Beyoncé and Adele?

It’s been side-noted by online fans that Kanye has a nomination for his controversial Famous clip while Taylor has received nothing.

Whatever the reason, this is another blow for Swift. As the saying goes - what goes up, must come down – so is this the fall of the Tay Tay empire? Or...

Is this just going to push the singer to produce some of her best work yet? Perhaps it's all part of her PR 'master plan' that Fergie was talking about...
