Roxy Jacenko to undergo breast cancer surgery this week


Roxy Jacenko will reportedly have surgery this week to remove a lump from her left breast.

The 36-year-old delayed a planned ‘partial removal’ of the lump last month according to The Daily Telegraph, but a procedure is booked in for this week.

The Australian publicist discovered a lump in her breast, and revealed her cancer diagnosis, last month just three weeks after her husband Oliver Curtis was sentenced to a year in jail for insider trading.

It has also been reported that Roxy will appear on current affairs show 60 Minutes to talk about her tough start to 2016. She will reportedly talk about her husband being jailed, being diagnosed with breast cancer and having to deal with her daughter being the target of an online photoshopping scandal.

Roxy told Daily Mail Australia last month that having her mother with her, after her cancer diagnosis, has made it easier. Her mum has fought breast cancer and had a mastectomy in the past.

Roxy was out with her kids Pixie and Hunter this week at Taronga Zoo, looking happy.

Yesterday the PR queen posted a video of her two children singing happy birthday to their dad over Instagram.
