Zac Efron: 'I tried Tinder, but nobody swiped right'

Newly single Zac Efron says he tried Tinder with no luck. (We definitely didn't come across him on our profiles when he was visiting Aus...)

The Hollywood hunk admits he can’t date properly because people already have a preconceived impression of him.

The Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates actor spoke to Us Weekly about the time her tried to use Tinder.

Zac and Sami Miro broke up in April this year after an almost two-year relationship. So Zac did what any newly single bachelor would do; he got on Tinder.

“Amazingly, when I signed up for Tinder nobody swiped me. They thought [my profile] was fake,” he told the US publication.

The 28-year-old also admitted that he would never be able to date – “as in the dictionary definition” – because he has already had an impact on someone before they’ve even met.

“A date has to be very long to dispel whatever people think of me,” he told Us Weekly.

Zac opened up about his past struggle with depression and revealed that he’s not a huge user of social media because it was the internet that made him lose his mind. He has now learnt not to worry about what other people think.
