Beyonce fans accused of hacking Rachel Roy AKA ‘Becky’

When Beyonce dropped Lemonade earlier this year there was one question everyone was asking: Who IS Becky with the good hair?

So when Jay Z's rumoured mistress, designer Rachel Roy, semi-outted herself via an Instagram post the Beyhive attacked.

And now TMZ are reporting that a Queen Bey fan has taken things too far, accused of hacking Rachel's iCloud and Gmail accounts and changing the mother-of-two's mobile number without her consent.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances.

Rachel first found herself the target of a torrent of online abuse after album dropped, which hinted at a tryst between Jay-Z and a “Becky.”

The lyrics — “He only want me when I’m not there/ He better call Becky with the good hair” — sparked a frenzy among fans as they speculated about who “Becky” was. Many instantly pointed the finger at Rachel, even suggesting she was the reason for the elavator catfight between Jay and Bey's sister Solange Knowles, though she’s repeatedly denied it.

Rachel posted on Instagram shortly after Lemonade was released, adding fuel to the fire sharing a candid photo of her and a friend, and writing: “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. Live in the light #nodramaqueens.”

The fallout from the accusations hasn’t just affected her either, with Rachael previously saying her daughters have also been subjected to online abuse.

“Online haters have targeted me and my daughters in a hurtful and scary manner, including physical threats,” she said.

“As a mother — and I know many mothers would agree — I feel that bullying in any form is harmful and unacceptable.

“I would hope that the media sees the real issue here — the issue of cyber bullying — and how it should not be tolerated by anyone.”
