She's hours away from strutting down the catwalk at Wednesday night's David Jones Spring/Summer runway show.

And now Jesinta Campbell has shared the strict six-week fitness program that prepared her body for the bikini-bearing season launch.

Spoiler alert: it involves a LOT of hard work and dedication, including grueling workouts with her personal trainer, plus Pilates, boxing and strength training, along with infrared saunas and massages.

Speaking to Sydney Morning Herald, the 24-year-old said she's been working out five to six times a week since June to "feel lean and strong" for the show.

"Over a four-week period you do feel [the extra sessions] and you start to remember the times you only did four to five a week and thought you were doing it easy," she told the publication.

The model also said that while she tries to maintain a consistent diet over the whole year, in the weeks leading up to the show she'll eliminate alcohol and refined sugars from her diet.

Jesinta's number one rule when it comes to her workouts is to always keep it fresh and new in order to get the best results.

"The biggest challenge with a lot of people's fitness is they get really bored and just do the same thing over and over. It's not dynamic enough."

"Everyone should be able to at least run five kilometres. Your joints are better, you get less aches and pains. Fitness is a holistic thing, it shouldn't be something that you do every now and then," she added.

She and AFL player fiance Lance "Buddy" Franklin, usually opt for an early dinner before Jesinta heads to bed at 7:30pm.

Her trainer, Dan Adair also shared some of his client's fitness secrets saying exercise form is more important than the heaviness of the weight.

"Jesinta knows her role and how she has to look. We aim the training at how she needs to look. Long, lean and healthy. We don't work for any bulk; we work to keep her muscles dense not big," he said.

So there you have it. Six weeks of intense workouts is all you need to be bikini ready!
