Taylor Swift's little brother has made his acting debut!

When you're the younger sibling to Taylor Swift, you're going to want to forge a path of your own.

And that is exactly what Tay Tay's little brother Austin has done. The 24-year-old has made his acting debut in the upcoming thriller I.T.

In the newly released trailer for the film, which stars Pierce Brosnan, Austin's supporting character Lance makes a very brief appearance towards the end of the clip.

The film sees Brosnan play a wealthy businessman tormented by an insane hacker out to kill him and his family.

Taylor has previously gushed about her brother's acting achievement, sharing the news about his big break late last year via Instagram.

Sharing a photo of her brother sitting behind the wheel of a vintage car, the Bad Blood singer wrote: "My brother just acted in his first movie and I'm all proud and stuff."

While Taylor is yet to comment on her brother's appearance in the trailer, we have no doubt she is proud as punch!

The siblings have a close relationship, with Austin regularly seen joining his sister on the red carpet and partying with her A-list friends. He also stuck up for his big sister last year, throwing out a pair of Yeezy's after Kanye West released his song Famous, in which Taylor got an unfavourable mention.

Austin took part in student theatre while studying at the University of Notre Dame in the U.S state of Indiana.

The film is set to be released in cinemas later this year.
