Malia Obama caught reportedly 'smoking weed' in video from music festival

US President Barack Obama's daughter Malia is facing claims she was smoking cannabis at a music festival after a video emerged of her appearing to puff from a suspicious-looking slim cigarette.

According to RadarOnline, Obama's eldest daughter, 18, was smoking a joint at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago on July 31, where she was also caught on camera twerking.

“I caught Malia smoking pot and I have the pictures to prove it. You could smell the marijuana smoke," spilled a source.

“I saw some young guy hand her a cigarette and she took at least one hit.”

The US President has also admitted to taking drugs in his youth, revealing in his memoir he smoked pot and used “a little blow [cocaine]" in high school and college.

While Malia was in a line- up, she was filmed dancing with a friend to Mac Miller. She and the friend looked at the cameras and Malia decided to give them a ‘flash’ dance.

Many people have jumped to the first daughter's defense since the news broke, sharing reactions on social media.
