Justin Bieber has threatened to make his social media private after haters made nasty comments about his rumoured girlfriend Sofia Richie.

The What Do You Mean singer slammed trolls, saying he's had enough of trolls targeting people he likes.

Biebs shared a string of images of the pair in a car, and wrote: “I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate, this is getting out of hand.

“If you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”

Justin, 22, and Lionel Richie's daughter Sofia, 17, have been friends for some time and are believed to be dating.

New photos of the pair were taken as they travelled in Japan together, and they were spotted holding hands.
