Britney Spears and her snake to perform at the MTV VMAs!

Britney Spears has officially been announced as a performer at the MTV VMAs this year.

The songstress released a promo on her Instagram, and it looks like her infamous snake is back!

In the clip, the snake can be seen sliding through what looks like her dressing room.

“The VMAs don’t just give you a stage, they give you a story,” the 34-year-old can be heard saying. “Sometimes a fraction of a second and making it live forever. Before you know it, it’s history.

“Before you know it, it’s Britney b*tch.”

We. Can’t. wait!

Britney Spears brought a snake onto the VMA stage back in 2011, then later caused controversy by kissing Madonna during a performance in 2003.

The 2016 MTV VMAs will air in Australia on August 29 @ 11am AEST.
