Meet the Olympic runner who got slapped by Beyoncé

You can win all the Olympic medals you like, but an athlete's career will never peak until you've been slapped in the face by Beyoncé.

So for Kerron Clement, he's hit the big time. He already won silver in the 400-metre hurdles and gold in 4×400 relay during the Beijing Olympic Games and after being sidelined for the London games is back better than ever in Rio!

And while they're all major accomplishments, will anything compare to the time Queen Bey slapped him in the face? No. Probably not.

Apparently one of Kerron's dancer friends took him to the set of the “Run The World (Girls)” music video. At some point, he was included in a line up and told to and wait for Beyoncé to enter the room.

Once the Queen arrived, she went through the line of men and hand picked the ones she wanted for the music video and ended up choosing the Olympic medalist!

"I'm like, ‘What’s going on?’ She said the guys she pointed at would be in the video. I was a little shocked, because I’m not really a Beyoncé fan. I’m more of a Mariah Carey fan. But I was honored to be in the video. It was a lot [of] fun," the runner told The Washington Post.

And that is how an Olympic athlete was slapped by Beyoncé.
