The real reason Miley and Liam cancelled their Aussie wedding

Yesterday dealt a major blow for anyone invested in the Miley Cyrus/Liam Hemsworth love saga.

With the wedding reportedly scheduled to take place in Australia, and the honeymoon in Bora Bora booked, it seemed the pair were finally on the home run to their happily ever after.

That was until Miley went and pulled the plug on their plans, fuelling speculation that they've called it quits... again.

But far from being over, a new report claims there's more to the story than meets the eye.

According to Hollywood Life, the gorgeous pair have actually shelved their plans because they simply can't even be bothered right now. In fact, what they'd really like to do is scrap the whole thing and elope.

“Their careers have kept them so busy — planning a wedding is not a priority,” says a source “The ongoing joke with them has been about secretly eloping in Mexico or Vegas. They would still like to get hitched with family and friends in Australia, but have agreed to let things happen organically.”

So why have they lost their enthusiasm? The source confirms that they've had enough of their families trying to butt in. But worry not, because while they're hating on weddings, Miley and Liam certainly aren't hating on each other.

“They are happier than ever,” the insider reveals. “That is a result of lots of communication, trust and security they have built up over being together so many years.”
