Alex from The Bachelor's wedding album leaked

Photos of Alex Nation's 2012 wedding have surfaced on the interwebs.

The 24-year-old star from The Bachelor wed her ex-partner Joel Porter, who is also the father of her son, years before she would go on to become a front runner on The Bachelor.

Benito's Restaurant shared some old snaps of her wedding, which took place in Victoria.

And although Alex is smiling from ear to ear in the wedding photos, the marriage was to be short lived.

"She was too young, pregnant at 18 and married a short time after Elijah was born... but she has since admitted she was never even in love with Joel," a friend of Alex's spilled to New Idea.

"Richie was blown away by her honesty about her situation and wanted to show her he was serious about exploring a future with her and little Elijah, which is why he gave her that special rose."

Alex has used the power of the coveted white rose to her advantage throughout several rose ceremonies and is tipped as one of the favourites to win over Bachelor Richie's heart.

Another favourite coined to win is fellow contestant, Nikki Gogan.

Last month she was forced to correct herself during an interview after she got her tenses mixed up when talking about her connection with Richie.

“When I first met him I was in his eyes immediately and that’s something that continues ... continued, continued,” she said to Access All Areas before correcting herself.
