Jessica Marais spills her #LazyMum secrets

Look, we’re all guilty of spending the occasional lazy day in our PJs - even if you're mega-babe Jess Marais.

With the viral phenomenon of #LazyMums sweeping the internet, the Aussie actress has confirmed she's all over it!

Yep, the star - who has four-year-old Scout with her ex James Stewart - tells NOVA 96.9 FM’s Fitzy and Wippa that she’s had plenty of #LazyMum moments.

“I’m guilty of not getting dressed,” she shares. “And not washing my hair for a week, so much to the point that then when I have to interact with another grown up and I put in effort, she actually remarks on how good I look, just for looking normal.

“Or I’ll put a face mask on and walk around in it all day. But lazy mum stuff, you know, shoving clothes under the bed before someone comes over.”

And just when you thought she couldn't get any more real, the Love Child star 'fesses up to being completely useless at social media.

“I have the Facebook,” she told the radio hosts. “But I don’t use it very often, so people are always abusing my inbox, saying, ‘Why don’t you check your messages?’

“I’ve considered the Instagram and the Snapchat, I just don’t know how I’d manage…I’ve only just learnt how to do an emoji.”

She added: “I’m really behind on technology.” Bless!

Meanwhile, earlier this week, Jessica's ex James Stewart opened up about the moment he met Jessica in 2007.

"I went to audition for a part on Packed To The Rafters and asked Jess for her permission to hold her waist and put her against a wall," he spilled to Sunday Life.

Soon after, James landed the part Jake Barton and Jess went on to score the role of Rachel Rafter. But the 41-year-old explained that Jess didn't make a move on him until a year later.

"Jess texted me 'Hot Chocolate?' at midnight a year later and it all went from there,' he said.

The pair got engaged in October 2010, and welcomed their daughter Scout, in 2012.

Sadly, last year, the couple announced they were going their separate ways after five years together.

"Our relationship didn't work out because I think hearts go in different directions eventually," he divulged.

Despite their split, the couple remain on good terms for the sake of Scout.
