Britney Spears is getting her own movie

Britney Spears' life is going to be turned into a two-hour TV movie. About damn time, we say.

The movie will be about Brit's life and will include her rise to fame (plus her downfall), and her battle to rebuild her singing career.

Oh, it was also include her relationships with Justin Timberlake (dreaming of those double denim days), and her marriage to Kevin Federline.

And we're crossing our toes and fingers it will also be a musical. Because if it isn't it ruddy well should be.

Actress Natasha Bassett will star as the pop icon, with filming due to commence in September.

But in the meantime we can get our Britney fix from Carpool Karaoke, due to drop overnight.

The songstress will ride alongside James Corden and will belt out her best hits. Yeah girl.
