EXCLUSIVE: Passenger to star in Game of Thrones?


While on his whirlwind trip to Australia, Passenger let slip a an unexpected confession to Be: he would kill to have a small part in Game of Thrones.

"I'd love to have a little cameo in Game of Thrones", Passenger AKA Mike Rosenberg spilled.

"I reckon I would make quite a good wildling. And if you're watching this, I would travel to Iceland or Northern Ireland or wherever it is."

We could definitely see that happening... his facial hair game is strong!

The singer, who shot to worldwide fame thanks to his hit single Let Her Go, also opened up about his latest album, Young as the morning, Old as the sea.

"The big difference about this album is I've always sung songs about people, really specific stories about people I've met whilst busking and travelling, and I think there's been a bit of a shift with this record. There seems to be a really strong theme of nature and landscapes and geography," he explained.

"I guess because I'm travelling so much I guess it's sort of filtered into the songwriting process."

Passenger, who has previously toured with good mate Ed Sheeran, reveals that he was "bowled over" by Ed from when he first saw him busking a a teen.

"We were in Cambridge one night and we both were randomly on the same bill in this tiny gig in a basement pub," he said.

"I remember watching his set and being bowled over by this little ginger 16-year-old that was completely destroying it."

And despite Ed being a multiple Grammy Award winner, Passenger insists fame hasn't changed him.

"I think he's just a very genuine person, he's lovely to everyone and everyone is lovely back to him and the whole cycle continues," he dished.

"Who would've thought being a nice guy would've got you somewhere in life?"
