Beyonce surprises back-up dancer with onstage proposal during 'Single Ladies' performance

One of Beyonce’s friends took the singer's 'Single Ladies' lyrics literally by proposing to his girlfriend onstage.

During Queen Bey’s recent show at St Louis, Missouri, the 35-year-old singer put her ‘Single Ladies’ tune on pause to invite choreographer John Silver onstage.

He then dropped to one knee and popped the question to Bey’s lead dancer Ashley Everett in front of the cheering audience.

“She’s my queen, so I feel like it’s only right to come out here in my hometown,” John said before getting down on one knee.

Beyonce then quipped, “Now let’s see you do the choreography after that", before breaking into the 'Single Ladies' bling-flashing section of the dance.

Yep, talk about engagement goals!
