EXCLUSIVE The Bachelor’s Nikki: ‘I nailed it when I met Richie’s family’

She’s down to the final two, but she's feeling confident!

There’s one last hurdle for Nikki Gogan in her Bachelor race – meeting Richie Strahan's family.

The WA beauty - who is from the same state as Richie Strahan - told Be exclusively that she’s happy with how things went when she caught up with Richie's mum and sister .

“I nailed it,” Nikki exclusively tells us.

“I think I definitely think his mum and sister were embracing the fact I was from the same home state.”

“I think about someone taking my sister away from me…. The moment I walked in, I was like ‘I’m a northern girl’. I think I had them just from the moment I walked in. His opinions mean a lot to him, but it doesn’t override his feelings. They don’t get the final say.”

And we asked her about how she feels being up against single mum Alex Nation, she reveals: “I’m excited for the big reveal tonight. Being one of the last women standing next to Alex, I’m honoured to be in this position. It’s a big thing going up against a beautiful woman like her.”

But Nikki admits it was tough being up against all the girls, not just Alex.

“It wasn’t a two horse race, it did not feel like that,” the blonde-haired beauty continues.

“Every single one of those girls are worthy, they have beautiful qualities. They’re all very loveable. If Richie wasn’t Richie, my journey could’ve been very different. There was never a moment when I didn’t think the girls were threats.”

And when we asked her whether she's given away whether or not she's the winner after mixing up her tenses in a recent interview, she says: “I wouldn’t read into my tenses at all. I’m not trained in this,” she adds. “I’m just doing the best I can. Sometimes I feels like I’m back there and I’m speaking in the current tense and the next day it feels like I’m looking back in the past.

“There are some things that I’m reading that are not true. It’s hard to read things that are completely false. I feel I haven’t done too badly. I know the people who mean the most to me know the truth.”
