Making A Murderer
If you haven't watched this... do you even know what Netflix is? Making A Murderer is one of THE most talked about shows of the year. Viewers became so invested in the crime case, there was even a petition to free the convicted criminal, Steven Avery, from jail. In a nutshell, the 10-episode series follows Steven's story. He was imprisoned for the murder of Teresa Halbach but has maintained innocence the entire time. Steven became a suspect after the victim's body was found on his property but what transpired through the series was a helluva lot of dodgy police work. It will more than likely make you lose faith in our legal system.

The Jinx
You won't sleep a wink days after watching this. The documentary focuses on the bizarre life of Robert Durst, a man linked to three different murder cases. The six-episode series takes a look at the disappearance of his first wife Kathie in 1982, the murder of his close friend Susan in 2000, and the dismemberment of his neighbour in 2001. The Jinx filmmaker actually interviews Robert aand tries to connect the dots between him and the murders. The cliffhanger ending is truly the stuff of nightmares.

Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father
Warning: you will cry a river of tears at the injustice in the world after watching this. The film has plot twist after plot twist but the messed up thing is it's actually based on real-life events. In 2001, doctor Andrew Bagby was killed by his ex-girlfriend Shirley Jane Turner... first plot twist? She was pregnant. Andrew's parents vow to fight for justice and custody of their grandchild. And without giving too much away, the ending was torture for the soul.
