Bachelorette's Carlos: 'Georgia sent the Tiffany bracelet back'

The first episode of The Bachelorette kick-started with a bang thanks to the surprise cameo of a donkey, an accidental tumble and an impromptu yoga contest.

And while Georgia Love said hello to 16 men, she sadly had to farewell two of her suitors.

Be caught up with the first evictees from the series, personal trainer Dale and stripper/businessman Carlos to talk all-things Bachie.

Carlos - your gift of the Tiffany's bracelet was very flash! Do you usually drop such elaborate gifts on a first 'date'?

"Being put in that situation where you have to leave a lasting impression against 16 strong personalities, I kind of wanted to give her a present that had a nice sentimental value. I actually didn't think about the financial side. I thought if this lovely lady was brave enough to wear her heart on her sleeve then it was fitting to give her a Tiffany's 'Love' bracelet to put on her wrist."

But did she keep it or give it back to you?

"Georgia felt like our connecton was so short that it wasn't fitting to take the present. It just shows how much of a genuine person she is."

Did either of you go into the show with a game plan?

Dale: "I definitely played it by ear, I had no strategy at all. Just go, have fun, if it happens, it happens. We had no idea who the girl was so you can't really plan for that."

Carlos: "I went into the show with the idea of hopefully finding real love. In the last few years I've just been focusing on my career and my business, and my love life has taken a bit of a backseat. I didn't have a strategy but more of the intention of what I hoped to get out of the show [love]."

What were your first impressions of Georgia?

Dale: "Beautiful. But we didn't hit it off, there was just no spark."

Carlos: "You could tell she was a very intelligent woman, she was very charismatic and very passionate. I have a tremendous amount of respect for her that she was able to put her heart on the line."

Courtney was given the yellow first impression rose... do you think he will win the series?

Dale: "I think he's definitely up there. They had a connection straight from the start, so when he got the first impression rose, I wasn't stunned."

Carlos: "Courtney is such a nice guy, I wouldn't be surprised if he made it to the end."
